About Us
Mike & Ingrid
Rowe House first started in 2006 with husband and wife Mike and Ingrid. A single accident set off a series of events which led to Rowe House’s beginnings. Ingrid accidentally dropped a shampoo bottle in the shower and broke a faucet knob in her grandparent’s 1950s bathroom. Her husband Mike and her father Pat awkwardly tackled the repair job (Mike let Pat take the lead not knowing that Pat was not handy at all). Ingrid uncovered Mike’s building and mechanical knowledge. Shortly after, the couple started renovating projects at the family home in Toledo.
The couple moved to Columbus in 2009 and began renovating historic homes and building new homes in the Short North, central Columbus. Today, Rowe House Rentals is a knitty-gritty team that renovates and operates boutique short term rentals in the Short North, Columbus.
Ingrid likes to incorporate new with vintage items, creating a cozy, at-home feel. In her spare time, she paints oils. If you see a painting, 99% chance it’s hers.
